I'm doing the 'breakfast blogger' spot on Radio National tomorrow morning. I pointed out to the producer that I'm not actually a blogger at the moment (been there, lapsed while book writing, yet to return to the fold, so not a blogger in the 'right now' sense). But it seems that to RN, a blogger means anyone with an opinion - like a synonym for 'ranter'. So I get one minute to rant to a national audience about any political issue I like.
I can't miss a chance like this to get on my soapbox about Julia Gillard, who has recently been given the inauspicious title of 'red witch' by the West Australian. For those of you overseas or in a coma recently, Gillard happens to be the new Deputy Leader of the Opposition, and is unmarried and childless. Therefore, time for a witch hunt. My god. Who are these people? So I gotta take a serve. Listen in if you're awake...
