I'm a bit of a fan of The National Interest. It's an example of the kind of show that Radio National does best, and Peter Mares makes for an intelligent and savvy host who actually cares about the subjects at hand. It makes for good listening in the course of a normal week, but this week I'm being interviewed twice about the 2020 Summit. First on Friday night about the ideas I'm taking in, then on Sunday during the Summit lunchbreak to update on my impressions and progress. John Hartigan (CEO of News Limited) gets to go first on Friday, as the chair of our governance panel. It'll be interesting to hear how he expects the Summit will run. If you want to listen in, it'll be uploaded here: http://www.abc.net.au/rn/nationalinterest/stories/2008/2214859.htm
The only downside is that I'll be missing out on most of the welcome cocktail party on the Friday, and the boxed lunch on Sunday! Ah, the things we do for Auntie.
