So, I faced down my fear of live TV (WTF? No editing at all? What if I
swear - as I am occasionally prone to do - at one of our esteemed Federal
politicians?) and went on ABC TV's Q & A. Hosted by the inestimable
Tony Jones, a gentleman and a scholar, and joined by a range of guests,
ranging from the Defence Minister to the shadow Attorney General. I did
my best not to swear... particularly when a certain guest claimed that
education had been superbly funded in Australia over the last ten
years. Play nice with the others, now.
