Iremonger Award for writing on public issues

the results are out

Mon 10 Mar 2008

It's been a busy year, so I'm a little behind with repoting exciting news from this corner of the world. But one of the things going on at the end of last year was that I was a judge for Allen and Unwin's Iremonger Award, which goes to the most promising book proposal on a current public issue. Working with Ross Gittins of the Sydney Morning Herald, we selected  Irfan Yusuf's proposal for Once Were Radicals. The book will now be developed and published by the good folk at A&U, so congrats to Irfan and good luck with finishing the book.
